Last 19th December, our students in 1st ESO hosted students in 6th grade at CEIP Astigi. It was the first time these Primary-school students visited our high school and, along with their teachers, they really enjoyed the bilingual breakfast we prepared for them.
Apart from offering tables full of typically British and US food, two representatives of every 1st ESO class at IES Nicolás Copérnico welcomed their future schoolmates, introduced their classes in English and in Spanish, and finally described the dishes they had cooked for their guests.
After this initial moment, everybody enjoyed the magnificent breakfast and shared a wonderful time together.
We are grateful to our students and their families for their implication in this valuable activity, to the students at CEIP Astigi and their teacher for enjoying our breakfast so mucho, and to the teachers at IES Nicolás Copérnico who teach in 1st ESO (Javier García, Cristina Romero y Carmen Barrios), for their great job.
